Bryson Tiller’s “Drop The Lo” Leads Into a New Album & 2026 Tour

Bryson Tiller’s “Drop The Lo” is setting the stage for a new album as his massive Neo TrapSoul Tour prepares to launch August 27.

Bryson Tiller appears to be loading up for a much bigger 2026 than one single.

“Drop The Lo” arrived June 5 through Trapsoul/RCA Records, blending the R&B and trap combination that has been central to Tiller’s sound since his breakout years. The record was written by Tiller, Reezy On Da Beat and Andrew Glover, with Reezy handling production.

More importantly, Sony’s announcement confirmed that the song is part of the buildup toward another Bryson Tiller album.

And now his tour is almost here.

Bryson Is Returning to the TrapSoul Pocket

There has always been something different about the space Bryson Tiller occupies.

He can sing a record without sounding like a traditional R&B singer, then slide into rap without making the transition feel forced. That middle ground eventually became part of the blueprint for an entire generation of melodic artists.

“Drop The Lo” doesn't sound like somebody running away from that identity.

It sounds like somebody sharpening it.

The track runs 2:41 and officially landed on streaming services June 5.

Instead of chasing whatever sound happens to be moving fastest on social media, Tiller seems comfortable returning to the atmospheric production, melody and trap percussion his audience originally connected with.

A New Album Is Coming

This is where things get more interesting.

Sony Music says “Drop The Lo” previews Tiller’s upcoming album, although an official album title and release date were not included in the June announcement.

That means we are likely watching an album campaign happen in real time rather than looking at an isolated loosie.

For longtime fans, that creates a bigger question:

What does TrapSoul in 2026 sound like?

Trying to remake 2015 would probably be the wrong answer. But completely abandoning the DNA that made Bryson unique wouldn't make much sense either.

The sweet spot is evolution without losing identity.

The Neo TrapSoul Tour Starts August 27

Tiller also has a massive live run approaching.

Bryson Tiller Presents: The Neo TrapSoul Tour begins August 27, with Majid Jordan, Ty Dolla $ign and Austin Millz appearing on select dates. Sony says the tour includes major venues such as Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Intuit Dome before extending internationally.

That's why “Drop The Lo” feels bigger right now than it did on release day.

We're approaching the moment where the new music, album rollout and touring schedule all begin overlapping.

If Bryson has another strong single waiting and the album follows soon after, this could become one of his biggest eras in years.
